The product/service that you ask people to write about must be one of your sponsor's services/product. The person who comes up with the best answer then wins a prize from your sponsors. Companies are willing to pay you to do this as it makes people aware of their product. Also, if you use the 'which new features would you like to see in this product' example then it allows them to find out how they can improve their products/services. The reason you need a large number of followers for this to work is companies are only willing to pay you if the number of people who become aware of their product brings them more money than the amount they pay you.
